We are able to understand some intentions, but how and when did we gain that?

Social cognition involves an area where the cognition meets with society in various ways and in this topic theory of mind have a significant role in some areas including cognition of children regarding to social world in terms of comprehension of other people and themselves, how the mind works etc.
